"Apple's iPod Shuffle took more than half of the US Flash-based music player market last month."
What this means is, 58% of ALL flash-based music players that are sold are iPod Shuffles!! Just a few other fun facts: the regular iPod controls over 90% of the hard-drive-based music players, and as for online music, 70% is sold via iTunes Music Store. (Link)
