iTMS now has "Popularity" Catagory

A feature of the iTMS that I have been asking for for a long time has now shown up: Popularity. When viewing a CD, for example, you can see what songs have been downloaded more than others.

To activate this "feature," in the iTMS, right click the title bar, and select "Popularity." The rating shows up as lines.

Nash cuts hair and lops mop-top

Before:

After:

VANCOUVER, British Columbia - Steve Nash has replaced his mop-top with a buzz cut. The two-time NBA most valuable player showed up at a basketball camp Wednesday with his trademark unruly hairdo gone.

‘‘I just cut it,’’ the Suns star said with a shrug. ‘‘I don’t really have a rhyme or reason. I felt like taking it off.’’ Nash is almost as famous for his long, wild hair as he is for his pinpoint passes and sharp shooting.

Fans of an NBA video game even complained the Canadian point guard’s hair did not ‘‘flow’’ properly, forcing the manufacturer to make changes.

Nash was in Vancouver to host a charity basketball game.

Too sweet!

"...the billboard features a real sundial whose shadow falls on a different breakfast item each hour until noon, when the shadow of the McDonald’s arches are dead center."

King of... what?

Linky
Jesus beer billboard causing quite a stir

(7/11/06 - KTRK/HOUSTON) - Sophisticated graffiti artists have left their mark near downtown Houston.

Someone covered up a billboard on La Branch at Winbern with a poster featuring a picture of Jesus Christ holding a Budweiser can. The company that leases the billboard believes vandals made the poster at home and then pasted it on top of the ad that's supposed to be there.

It shows Jesus holding a Budweiser in between the phrases "Jesus, King of Jews" and "Jesus, King of Beers."
"I thought that was just crazy," said commuter Jose Cazares. "It looks professional too."

Neighbors say the billboard has been up there for a week or more.

haha

I know that this is just wrong, but I am still laughing at it!

BERLIN (Reuters) - Police in Berlin said on Wednesday they had arrested two men on suspicion of placing cement-filled soccer balls around the city and inviting people to kick them. At least two people injured themselves by kicking the balls, which were chained to lampposts and trees alongside the spray-painted message: "Can you kick it?"

Police said they had identified a 26-year-old and a 29-year-old and had found a workshop in their apartment where they made the balls. The two are accused of causing serious physical injury, dangerous obstruction of traffic and causing injury through negligence, police said.

BlogZOT!

My review of HoudahSpot as seen on MacZOT.com:

I tried HoudahSpot, and it was pretty cool. The interface was hard to understand at first, but once you do understand it, it works like a breeze. HoudahSpot provides one of the few things that Spotlight left out, which is logical statements (AND, NOT, OR). Ummm... for the two of you out there that read this and have a Mac, I would suggest that you download this and give it a try. Now you can search easily in Tiger, Mac OS X, with HoudahSpot!

NOTE:If you're seeing this on June 16, 2006 head over to MacZOT.com, you might be able to get a Free copy of HoudahSpot!

Yea!

A new study suggests that people preparing for surgery ask their doctor: "Have you played your video games today?"

Surgeons who warmed up by playing video games like "Super Monkey Ball" for 20 minutes immediately prior to performing surgical drills were faster and made fewer errors than those who did not, said Dr. James "Butch" Rosser, lead investigator on the study slated for release on Wednesday.

Speeding Tickets a Problem?

Tired of speeding tickets? Want to open up spaces between you and the cars around you? Follow these four easy steps:
1. Tie these balloons to your car.
2. Drive VERY fast.
3. Watch people get out of your way.
4. Tell the nice officer you thought they were real.

If anyone can find if/where these are sold, I'm buying in bulk!

Sweet!

They are already calling it the new Mecca.
Devotees are expected to pray towards it 5 times a day, and are required to visit it at least once in a lifetime (though most would say they want to return).
What is it? Clue: It is in New York City, will be open 24/7, and includes a 32 ft (3 story) glass cube.

Sigh

New study shows that if you raise the speed limit, less people speed.
So what you are saying is, if you lower your standards, less people sin.
*sigh*
It also says that they are thinking about raising two Texas highways to 80MPH.
