Catchy composition. I have always hated the fake piano sound though. The closest I have heard to a good synthesized piano (based on sampling or otherwise) was a combo of sounds from an Ensoniq keyboard (they were sample-based).
I haven't done this much, but I think you might improve the sound by trying a different piano instrument, or you could hide it a bit by adding an echo and reverb, and moving the pitch of the piano part away from the middle octaves.
